The hill station was one of the favorite summer destinations for the British officers and remains one to this day. Kasauli is a small hill station in Himachal where you can witness beautiful apple orchards and fine british architecture. It makes for a relaxing getaway as you can simply lie back and enjoy the scenic view of the whole hill station laid out infront of you.


Last but not least, the main one — Shimla. Shimla is hands down the most popular and most sought after tourist destination in Himachal. Anyone from solo travellers, honeymooners to even families can have a blast at this amazing hill station. The hill station offers so much to do and so much to see that anyone venturing to this place has an unbelievable amount of fun.

Given the choices laid out, if you could choose only two destinations, then choosing Manali and Shimla will probably be the best options. You can start off at Manali and try your hand at multiple outdoor activities. Cover the short Shimla and Manali distance by a taxi and make your way to Shimla for a more mellow time. Enjoy the beauty of the landscapes and go for long walks.
